Kreisson had a great night presenting at the Master Builders Australia (MBA) Northern Suburbs Information Night on 17 February 2022.

Kreisson provided MBA members guidance on the relationship between BC4 construction contract and:  

• The concept of Quantum Meruit, a latin phrase which meaning awarding someone “the reasonable value of work performed” or essentially “market value” and restores to a person the gains that someone else has obtained from their work;
   

• the recent SC case of Paraiso v CBS Build Pty Limited, proceedings where the builder wherein the Builder claimed circa $180,000 over contract price in variations and adjustments to PC items / provisional sums; and
   

• variations and how the court has dealt with pricing variations within the context of residential building contracts.
